Attorney Heidi Alexander with the Massachusetts Law Office Management Assistance Program (MA LOMAP) will present information regarding risk avoidance and mitigation, best practices, and breach preparedness for law firm data security, file management, evolving technology, and the Massachusetts data security law.

Following a brief break, insurance industry expert Christine Cunning with the independent, Massachusetts agency of Sullivan, Garrity & Donnelly Insurance, will explain terminology surrounding and highlight data security and breach coverage options, potential gaps, and differences between commercial and malpractice insurance coverages.

We will then dive collectively, headfirst into a roundtable discussion about the newly enacted tax act and what it means not only for our clients’ estate plans and businesses, but also for our own law firm businesses.
